It was founded by Jorgen Eliason, from Fordefjord, Norway in times when moving from place to place was primarily by water. Most supplies were brought the 18-mile trip from the city of Seattle by rowboat and later by steamboat. Have you guess it? It is Poulsbo, a charming little town located in Washington. Downtown Poulsbo keeps a Scandinavian theme in its most of its shops and restaurants, and it has become a very popular regional tourist destination. Yesterday I was watching TV, that classic zapping time, and in a Friends episode, they were playing a game that consisted in name all the states of the country. Most couldn't remember all of them and Monica, forgot 14 states!. And she said justifying his fault that "nobody cares about the Dakotas". Well, we do care about the Dakotas!. For example, Black Hills, a beautiful area located in South Dakota. Spectacular wildlife, rugged and superb mountains, awe-inspiring scenic drives and historic places are just some of the attractions of Black Hills. This striking and growing mountain area is situated in the state of South Dakota and it has become one of the most visited places in the country. There are lots of things to do for those staying in a vacation cabin in Black Hills. Individuals that love animals should try to see the large herds of buffalo, amazing wild mustangs and crazy burros that populated the area.
