Did you know that there is a city in the United States called "The Little Norway"?. It was founded by Jorgen Eliason, from Fordefjord, Norway in times when moving from place to place was primarily by water. Most supplies were brought the 18-mile trip from the city of Seattle by rowboat and later by steamboat. Have you guess it? It is Poulsbo, a charming little town located in Washington. Downtown Poulsbo keeps a Scandinavian theme in its most of its shops and restaurants, and it has become a very popular regional tourist destination. As always, I highly recommend staying in a vacation house in Poulsbo.
